What's in your Video Bank?
There are three different types of multi-media clips you can add to Actors Access and Breakdown Services:
When you add video or your voice-over reel into our system, both you and your Talent Representative can use it immediately.

You can add three different types of multimedia clips to your Video Bank:
Video Bank contains all your videos and audio media so you can access them anytime you want.
Each clip of an actor's reel (Performance Video and Audio Vault) is independently saved in your Video Bank. The clips can be submitted together or separately along with your picture and resume for a specific role or emailed as a link to anyone.
Like so many actors, you probably have clips from comedy performance video, dramatic performance video, voice-over, other audio, and a hosting reel. With all these choices in one Video Bank, you or your agent can create exactly the right multi-media selection to send with the photo and resume for a particular job. For voice-over work, you can select just the audio clip. Or if you're submitting for a dramatic show, you might want to submit your “Law and Order” and “Lost” clips but leave out the ones from “Once Upon a Mattress” or “Weeds”.
We strongly recommend that each individual clip not exceed one minute, but we will not cut a clip arbitrarily in the middle to make it fit that length.
Bring your 1/2" tape, DVD, mini-dv, or mp3 audio file to our main locations in Los Angeles or New York or to one of our actor centers. For street addresses, call Breakdown Services at either (310) 276-9166 or (212) 869-2003.
Do not bring in your reel already compressed. We will take care of compressing your video using a professional compression algorithm.
If you are bringing in a tape, please have the tape cued up where you want us to start your Performance Video.
You can add additional video at any time and pay only $22.00 per minute of video or $11.00 per minute for audio.
Got more than 2 minutes of video or audio? It makes sense to consider our Starter Specials. Add up to 5 minutes of clips/reels for only $100.00 for your video reel. Pay only $40.00 for your audio reel.
A note regarding editing of your Performance Video: If you need any special editing work performed on your video there is a charge of $20.00 for every 20 minutes of editing time.
All our videos are encoded as QuickTime Video and can be viewed when an agent submits an actor for a role, or when actors submit themselves through Actors Access. Make sure you have the latest version of QuickTime by going to: http://www.apple.com/quicktime

Actor Slatesm is a video service exclusively provided by Chelsea Studios. Actor Slatesm is the next best thing to a face-to-face meeting with Casting Directors and Talent Representatives. First you are videotaped in a relaxed interview setting. Then the footage is professionally edited down to a one minute video, showing you at your natural best.

Actor Slatesm brand is recognized by professional agents and casting directors and use of the name of Actor Slatesm is restricted to in sure a standard of quality that has come to be associated with Actor Slatesm. Actor Slatesm is a registered Service Mark. The use of Actor Slate to identify video ‘General Interviews' not produced by Chelsea Studios or its licensed affiliates is prohibited.
Actor Slatessm are presently produced in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. In 2008, Chelsea Studios will be hitting the road visiting cities across the country to film Actor Slates. Stay tuned for the 2008 schedule.
